Our Whiteboard

The SMART Board interactive whiteboard is a touch-sensitive display that connects to your computer and digital projector. Using a finger, or a magic pen the children can mark make, draw, and interact with educational software and children’s websites. It can also be used to watch DVDs on a large screen.

The SMART Board interactive whiteboard has the flexibility to engage all learning styles and ages from babies onwards.

 Visual learners can easily see colourful, movable images and diagrams that the interactive whiteboard displays, even from the back of the room.

Kinaesthetic learners can interact and explore by moving letters, numbers, words and pictures with the touch of a finger it is an excellent learning tool for the pre-school age group.

Auditory learners can be immersed in a complete multimedia experience using optional USB speakers or SMART Audio.

It is an all inclusive learning tool, and at the moment Little Steps is the only day-care nursery to have one in the Northamptonshire area.

Sporty Little Steps

Little Steps has a weekly sports session run by Mini Strikers.  The children enjoy a range of ball games, balancing skills and other activities to promote healthy living.

Singing

once a week we have a qualified singing teacher who takes groups of the older children for a range of singing activities.
